這張專輯記錄了 RIKI 2023年9月離開臺灣兩年後，用全新的視角注視家鄉的所有感受。離開家鄉以後，在不同城市裡看見的風景，以及那些突然闖進腦袋的奇怪念頭：遠距離戀愛、失去聲音、為了見一個人花掉的交通費、對國外生活的幻想、焦慮帶來的身體反應、板橋耶誕城，還有一次又一次對自己的懷疑。這些看似毫不相關的事情，其實共同拼出了這幾年的生活——從渴望離開，到真的離開；從期待外面的世界，到重新認識自己的家鄉；最後才發現，不論在哪裡發生，這些都是臺灣人的故事。於是今年，我決定帶著這張以 DISCO 為底、字裡行間都充滿臺灣味的專輯回家。音樂上，這張專輯保留了 RIKI 充滿張力的聲音與 DISCO、FUNK 的律動，同時加入更多搖滾、Band Sound，以及帶有 K-POP 拼接感的編曲。歌詞肯定超 random，卻也比以前更誠實地記下了脆弱、焦慮、思念與感動。這些突如其來的想法、很難向別人解釋的感受，以及在快要放棄時仍然想再寫一首歌的衝動，或許就是 RIKI 最大的特色。
